For as big of a population and a global airport you'd think Atlanta would get more coral shows. I was perusing the Internet and found this show in Cartersville in November.

Reefing USA

Has anyone been to one of these shows? The good, the bad and the ugly?

I was excited about Reefstock being back in Chattanooga this month, but they canceled it and moved it to Las Vegas

I spoke to some of the vendors and they said the turnout was way too low. We have to get good numbers at these shows to make national shows come here and make it worth their while. Reefing USA is a great way to do this I hope.

Which is crazy considering the reefing community we have here, along with one of the busiest international airports in the world.

I’m going to ask for the Saturday off this is being held and will attend if I can. I’d love to have one of the big shows come here since I can’t afford to travel to them.

I drove down and spent a weekend in Orlando this spring for Reef-A-Palooza. It was a good time but wish it was closer for sure. I am planning to do it again in April 2026.

High level overview:

The diamond pass was not worth it: the swag bag advertised was just a bunch of flyers and a couple of food samples. Prices were cheaper on Sunday as vendors tried to clear their stock, but that also meant less selection on Sunday. Some vendors were outrageous and others had great prices. I also witnessed the staff of one vendor acting rudely towards hotel staff and made a mental note not to order from them again. There were lots of great giveaways and it was cool to see some emerging tech up close.
