Ok I have an old ATO I used several years ago. It is a float switch attached to the sump by a suction cup. It works perfect, however I am afraid of the suction cup failing and the switch becoming lost at sea (read ten gallons of fresh water in my 125 Gal reef tank). Any Ideas on making it safe and secure (or Secure and safe).

I have thought about just drilling the sump and attaching the RO/DI with a Kerick mini Float Valve. Are they available Local?

Any ideas would be appreciated.

glue the suction cup to a magnet mount like you would use for powerheads. That's how i hold my ATO sensor in place

I will post a pic tonight in the mean time I will see if I have the parts to mount on a magnet at least temporarily

The Magnet holder worked well, I had one left over from a Power Head zip tide the float to a bracket and attached to the magnet.

thanks
