So, maybe I'm dumb or not thinking straight but how do I keep my ATO from creating a siphon once it turns the pump on? It turns on fine but when the power to the pump is cut the water keeps flowing. Thanks for the help with my dumb question.

I just made the outlet of the pump end above the waterline of the sump. End not underwater=no siphon.

Hi John is you'r ATO tank above the waterline of the sump? I put a T in mine above the waterline of my ato tank to act a s siphon brake. I have 1/2 tube the t off is 1/4.

Yeah, so the resivoir is a 10g tank and it is sitting higher than the sump water line. The pump is in the bottom of the 10g tank and the line runs up and over then down and into the sump. The outlet into the sump is not under water. Jaycen, I was trying to remember your setup because it is very similar with the same ato.

put a small siphon break at the top of the reservoir that returns the water back to the reservoir.A very small hole in the line that only allows avery small stream back to the reservoir which will break siphon when the pump shuts down

Thanks Dave! I did that and it seems to be working like a champ.
