Now that I've got my sump plumbed correctly and everything, I was wondering about building an auto-top off system--does anyone have any advice/links to building one myself?? I've heard it can be done fairly easily and fairly cheap--thanks

what should I use for the ATO container?? Would an old tank work? say a 10 or 20 gallon?? Or is that overkill?

Old salt bucket or a Vitels Vault from a PetStore if you want something fancier. Just make sure it is food safe if you use plastic and also make sure it can hold the weight.

BTW, autotopoff.com has a double float switch (which I highly recommend) for $50 and it comes with everything all plug and play.
