Come pick it up.... if you want I can keep it alive for ya :confused2:

why you confused, i'm being serious. I want to have one.. dead though, but want to preserve it.. or hell, i have a 2.5g tank i may try figuring out the behavior of these things lol just something to do cause i am a broke bored college student lol

just don't know when i'll get up there to get it but still..

hahahaha so do i.. but i am sure that would be a perfect preservation vessel for it..

I read a story once where I guy was giving a lecture on Isopods and had a rather large one(nickel sized or so) and he had it in his hand as he was talking.. they had to remove it with forceps because in a matter of a minute or two it was burrowing into his hand..

ew... trust me... i won't be touch these unless i have a pair of tweezers near by or a lighter :D

I have finally just caught the other big iso that was in the tank!!! YAY for my rad netting skills!:yay: I have also caught about 15 of their babies tonight too... now I believe I have mom and pop caught so only babies to worry about now? Who know, but that is what im hoping for...

Check out the wrasse Doc just got for his tank. Those and a few others will help you with your babies

Buy dry base rock and seed it with a few live rocks from someones tank. Get the live rock from someone you trust has no pests. Cheaper that way too. The base rock will liven up in no time.

If that one scares you check out this massive one.. on top of a 50g container

Sea Fleas!

I agree with llewella, also you should do a low salinity dip on the rocks too. That way a lot of the critters will flee the rock and you can pick and choose which ones to keep and discard.... I didn't do that and look where I am GAHHHH..... it was a beginners mistake to make back when I first got into the hobby.

Also, I saw another good sized one in there last night... it avoided my net :( but im still on the hunt!
