I know there's a crew in the Athens area but I'm not sure about Augusta. I hope someone can chime in for you.

I appreciate it. I am not a huge social media guy so I dont even remember my facebook password but I will try looking them up. I will say this and this may not be the place to do it, but though I have been here for just a few days, I have seen nothing but kindness and people willing to help other people here. That is a refreshing change from what I see on a daily basis these days. You all should be proud at what you have established here and I hope to be a part of this organization for a very long time (if maybe only from a distance... 2-3h drive is a long way each way).
I used to live in Eatonton by Lake Oconee. I'd still suggest sticking around at least the forums. I didn't make too many meetings but I always tried to make the expo (I highly suggest it). When I would buy something from a member, it gave me an excuse to check out some of the Atlanta stores. I would generally make a day of it.

I agree... It is always nice to have an excuse to make a trip to Hotlanta. Before my next trip there I will definately be compiling a list of favorite LFS of the members.
