Your Apex can control this one. Well, not really, but I set my feed mode 2 minutes before I set the feeder to feed. Works well and no food into the overflow.
How small of a quqntity will these hints feed? I only have a 14 gallon cube, but am beginning to wonder what I might do this summer when I have to go out of town.
You can feed up to four times each day, but can adjust the amount fed, to like nothing. I only use mine when I travel, and it works great. No reason it wouldn't work on a 14g cube.
