And everything lived! Tank is a little dirty...but everything seems to be ok...some of my new frags were all over the place from the crabs running all over them...

What do you all do to clean the bottom of the tank where sand line is. When I use the mag float, it seems to disturb the sand bed too much...any tips, techniques?

Razor blade - scrape just below the sand. (Assuming this is a GLASS tank. Do not use a razor on an acrylic tank! I use an old credit card on my acrylic.)

Razor is good. I also like those Kent algae scrapers with the handle for that as well. Like tokejr said, just make sure you are using the right one for the right tank material (acrylic or glass).

to clean the glass around the sand bed i use the glass scraper on a stick. they sell them at all fish stores. it works the best
