Bad Ballast

I have a Sunlight Supply 250W DUAL Galaxy ballast that is only lighting (1) lamp. I tried switching the leads but now it lights the other lamp only. Any ideas on quick fixes so I don't have only half my reef lit all weekend? I believe it still has a warranty so I will look into that on Monday.

No quick fix I can think of, other then replacing the ballast. Sorry

The only possibility of fixing it would entail openin it, which would void the warranty. But, most likely it can't be repaired anyway (you'll need to replace a component), so you're better off just contacting SLS and sending the unit in.

You may be able to have them send you the replacement first (with a credit card charge that'll be refunded when you send in the defective unit); that way you're not without light for the entire time. Worst case scenario, you'll be fine without light for a week.
