Unfortunate update, I moved then to the 10 gallon about a week ago and they started dropping like flies. I am not really sure as to why but I think it may have something to do with how sensitive they are. I was loosing about 1 a day. They were all still eating well but were just slowly dropping off. In the future I will keep them in the breeder box on the main display for much longer. I just bought another box so I have more room. Any suggestions I am welcome to. Next thing is the parents have not yet breed again, I am 99% sure the reason is low nitrates and phosphate I have been battling that for a long time. I have been doasing the tank but still not enough. I also upped my feeding. But I did for the first time have a measurable amount of nitrates. Any suggestions for stability above 0? I use salifert test kits and specifically the phosphate I have a hard time reading. Anyone have any suggestions for better reading. I have never seen color but when I do it looks on the chart like everything is below .2 all look roughly the same. Open to any suggestions so I may have better luck next time. My corals were doing ok at 0 nitrates and phosphate but I got a skimmer for Christmas and stupidly I put it on the tank and turned it on. Once I noticed after a week that my corals were doing terrible. I stopped the skimmer. 2 weeks later now thing just look worse still. Any suggestions? Am I not seeing something?
