BC14 Fans

Has anyone upgraded the fans on their 14g Biocube?

Mine are a little loud, so I am looking at replacing them with fans that are as silent as possible.

Thanks for the suggestions. Do you know if these are "plug and play" or am I going to have to do some wiring myself?

Just have to Use the old connector. I use heat shrink tubing.. Also at frys

I can't find the size of the BC fans anywhere. Any suggestions on what model I should replace them with?

50x50x10 however you should be able to get a thicker one such as silex

Thanks, but it doesn't look like silex has any fans around that size. They are either 40 or 60, but no 50s on their site.

Maybe try retrofitting one?

Edit: just did a quick search try the Rasurbo 50mm

I had bought some last year, after the second set from Oceanic went bad. They were by evercool, around $5 each. Make sure , what ever brand you pick, that they have ball bearing.
