I’m just not sure about this situation...I need to do some painting in a room in my home (ranch home). Unfortunately the project calls for me to use KILZ oil based primer. It has a very pungent odor as I have used it in the past in a garage. I’m curious if this would crash my tank. It’s just a 30 gallon AIO with softies and mostly LPS. I thought Possibly just turning off the skimmer until the odor was gone may work. I know that spraying cleaning products nearby is not good but I wasn’t sure about odors. Thanks in advance for any advice.

I planned on doing this as well. Just forgot to mention it in the post.

Maybe run a skimmer line outside ? Couple fans inside and you should be good.

We’ll be doing some remodeling on my office this spring. I plan on running an airline from the window to the skimmer, and covering the entire tank in loose plastic.
