I purchased a Bellus Angelfish from Liveaquaira.com about 3 weeks ago. Just as I went on vacation to Florida last week, I noticed some sort of growth on it's tail fin. The only thing unusual about the water was nitrates were 25 ppm before my last 25% water change. I have another one planned for tomorrow.
The good news it doesn't look like it's gotten worse. She is eating quite heartily even over the last 2 days since I got back home. And nothing unusual about her behavior has seen by me.
She's currently in my QT tank right now so removal of my LR in that tank is possible for any sort of treatment if needed. Anyways, here's a pic that I took of the issue. And as I said it doesn't seem to have gotten worse.
