Did you see it eat the store? What kind of food were you feeding it?

Yes, whenever possible I always request they show me in store that the fish is eating.
Reef frenzy frozen food with frozen spirulina enriched mysis shrimp is what I normally feed, I always enrich with garlic guard, selcon and vitachem.

Anthias besides being a little stupid are blind lol. I’ve had to literally almost pollute an entire QT tank of food and perfectly drop frozen trying to ween them into prepare food. Powerhead off and food bouncing off their heads before they realized oh crsp I can eat that

That is not good. Sounds like you did everything right. I am planning to use Avast Pank which feeds reef jerky a couple of time of days, plus pellet auto feeder once per day, frozen mysis once per day, and I will hatch brine shrimp and I have pods but sounds like nothing is certain. I will make sure they eat at the store as well.

That is not good. Sounds like you did everything right. What kind of anthia if you do not mind sharing?

I think it’s true a lot of them. But my references were from my centralism and Bennett schools. I original bought 8 of each. I ended up with 7 ventrslis and 6 Bennett.

I literally watched live brine bounced off their faces. I could have sworn I saw a few shrimps swim straight into their mouth and get spat out. They are the easiest things once they eat but they are stubborn.
