Best heaters and ph controller

what is the best and most efficient reliable heater and PH controller and probe to purchase.

IMHO - Ebo Jager is the best heater hands down. Tried a lot and nothing compares. Nothing fancy - they just plain work.

American Marine is a good Ph controller. No negative experience with Milwaukee, just prefer AM. Neptune systems (Apex) good as well, but more of an "all system" controller.

Just bought two Finnex 500w heat tubes. No controller came with the heaters so the Apex can do all the work. Any past heater problems I've had were all controller issues.

Floyd, I would maybe need 1 300 to 400w , I have a total water volume of 310 gallons

I think the key is to run two heaters for redundancy. I am running two 200w in my 90, and will use the 500w on the 180. Quick on, quick off when needed. One 500w was rated (I think) up to 130 gallons. Of course that's mostly hype.
