Best light for a 40b

Was thinking of getting a a360w but wanted to know everyones thoughts. Mixed reef .

Yes Kessil a360w.

I would go with the controllable reefbreeders unit. The Kessils can have a spot light look or so I have heard.

Kessils are awesome when multiple are used. Otherwise you will have a spotlight effect like previously stated

I guess you're looking at the photon 32? It won't be too much, but you probably will never be able to turn it up past half way. I run a 24 over a 36" wide tank and it covers the area just fine. On a tank that shallow, make sure to go with the 120 degree optics.
