I am about to buy a skimmer for my tank. I have been reading many reviews about the Tunze 9002 and the Aqua C Remora. They both will fit into the back compartment from the dimensions and word of mouth. If anyone has any suggestions or comments about these it would be much appreciated. Also if you recommend something better that will HOB or fit into the back please let me know.

Thanks

PS if you have one to sell, I am interested.

I've been reading about the Sapphire Aquatics nano skimmers. They seem to work well according to testimonials, but doesn't seem like anybody on this forum uses them... well, no one replied when I asked about them.

Tunze 9002. I posted pics of one in use in our office tank.

MRC still has one left for only $115

Thanks everyone. ? What bang for buck, which is better? Also if I could get a used Remora for half the price would you all still buy the Tunze 9002? I am just weighing the options. I dont want to buy one then buy another. Also though money is important, so cheaper the better, but this is contradicts everything about a "good skimmer". Thanks again.

Anyone have a used Tunze 9002 to sell?

Best,
Scott

I got 2 jbj 24 with saphire skimmers. Not real happy with them. they are OK. They are hand made, I ordered straight from the company, got them with missing parts etc..If the power goes out they will not restart. You have to drain the water. Hope this helps. Would not refer.

Thanks everyone. Does anyone know Raj's username so I can PM him?
Thanks again and now to find a 9002.
Best
Scott

the selling point of the Saphire is that you can close the top on the jbj, I don't know if the Tunze will do that.
