Best skimmer with a small footprint

I need to get a skimmer for a 55 corner tank. the sump is a 10 gallon. I want the BEST with consideration that there isn't much room in the cabinet on the sides either.

Skimmer talk is very subjective since we all have different experiences. I've had aquaC, vertex, octopus, and euroreef.
A while ago I decided to spring for a high end skimmer, and I'll never look back. The bk is extremely well built and thought out. Also keep in mind most sites aren't showing the specs on the gen 2 red dragon pumps for some reason.

For your tank i would go with the Bubbleking mini 160.

I ran an octopuss 110 and it had a pretty small footprint and worked grrrrreeeaattt

Check out the bubble magus NAC-7. Ive never owned one, but have heard they are very nice! I have the octopus 110 on my 50g and really like it. I was going to get the NAC-7 but found a really good deal on the octopus. But the bubble magus has a smaller foot print.

I have been researching the Super Reef Octopus 1000SSS. Not bad for $300 and a small footprint.

i use a reef octo bh-50 nano skimmer and at one point i had it in my 10g sump and it fit. it skims like a beast i would recommend it

Thanks all for the feed back. The RO 50, 110 and BM NAC 7 will all actually fit in the current stand and sump. Its nice to hear the positive feed back on these!
