What is the best way to frag some Blasto Merletti's in tank? I can't remove the rock and they are going wild and need a trimming. I know if I could remove the rock a dremel/wet saw would be good but not sure what to do in-tank. Thanks.

Let me know if you need a different pic.

Hey Thanks Man. We'll see how the fragging goes if I have any extra frags lying around. Charlie has first dibs on em though so we will see if I get more than one or two frags out of it. I plan on keeping a good amount myself but this thing is a pretty good size, way bigger than a golfball and atleast a good 50-60 heads or so.

wow cool. yea i want to meet dawgdude he moved down here next to me still havent met him yet lol.

Blasto merlettis are easy to frag. They are on long stalks like Cualestrea, and can be broken off where they join with clippers, pliers, whatever.

I was going to suggest clippers too, easy to be a bit more precise, less trauma.

Beautiful colony... if you have spare frags I'd love to trade with you :)

LOL I will let you know on the frags if I have any available. Yup got various size of bone-cutters here, I definitely like the idea that Jeremy and you gave better as at night it is easy to see the raised stalks like Jeremy suggested. I plan on giving this a go this weekend, I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks for the advice everyone, any additional comments/suggestions are also greatly appreciated.
