Best way to get rid of ugly mushrooms?

I have some brown mushrooms in my tank that are taking over a nice piece of rock and i want to get rid of them but i am unsure the best way to do so. Can i just get rid of them the same way i do aiptasia because i have tried pulling them off and can't get the whole thing so it just grows right back. I have tried fragging but cant without breacking up i nice size rock. thanks for the help.

Depends on how you get rid of aiptasia.

I've used joe's juice and aiptasia x to no avail. The shrooms either come back or worse... multiply to piss you off.

I'm going to try Acroholic's reef napalm. Alternatively there is a guy on RC that makes a electric probe to fry the little guys to death. I think his name is PaulB.

I use Aiptasia X. You have to properly treat it. I go around in circles from outter to inner and a glob on the mouth. This normally does them in. You have to coat it well.
