Mark my tank is only a 20Long. I am thinking of going to a 40 Breeder. But going to have to wait until after Christmas when I get some $$$ freed up. I want a couple more fish as I am probably pushing my bioload now I have 3 damsels and a lawnmower blenny. Going to ugrade to MH/t-5 combo lighting. can't see putting more money in this tank anyway. Anyone know where I could get plans for a DIY sump? I have 2 spare 20's and want to make a sump out of one of them.

Check the DIY thread's I have seen a couple of sump designs there, also look around the web tons of sites with sump designs. Depending on what your plans are I think I would do the 30L first then get the lights for that. If you have no coral at the moment the nitrates are not so important. I have learned the hard way that is not a case of reaching 0 on your readings as keeping them stable and in an acceptable range.
