I saw this unit running on another members tank....The tank seemed VERY healthy.....Obviously not only because of this reactor but has anybody had an experience with one? Good or Bad.... looking at a Next Reef SMR1 on a 220g....

I totally agree, if my torch get really clean water, they get MAD! SPS just like their world to be perfect! Lol

You still running them? I'm thinking about putting mine back online.

Carbon dosing, 7-14 day usuage gfo (less quantity), large weekly water changes, and trying Seachem Matrix....

Nope. I just went back to alternating between gfo and phosgaurd. I've never really had an issue with the nitrates, and I think that was the reason I was starting to get cyano out breaks. If there isn't excess waste, the pellets can feed bad bacteria(cyano). I dropped the pellets, switched to the sfiligoi fixture and haven't had much of an issue with cyano since then. How's your tank doing?
