birds nest

got another question, my tank is about 5 months old now everything is growing great but yesterday I noticed my birds nest is starting to die from the base up. it's only a little bit but I hate for it to die maybe 3/8" of the base is white. my other 2 birds nests are doing good? man I sure hope it wasn't the hand soap,lol!

I can't really get a picture of it but there is a large finger leather and some zoe's near it

wow okay I just read up on rtn,and stn, and there's a lot of things that can cause it. I just hope she makes it!

Frag it out to save the non RTNing parts. That's what I did now instead of one good size colony I have ten small colonies

I have a few types of birds nests and when they get large, it's hard to get enough light and flow to keep the bottom happy.

This is typical birds nest. It may not be rtn or stn it may be polyp bail out, which could leave you with many more in unwanted areas.
