Blonde naso tang acting weird

Ever since I got home he wont leave this one particular spot by some rocks. I even fed the tank and he didnt eat, just is sitting in this one spot about halfway up the tank. Is breathing fine and not showing any sogns of stress. Usually he'll be swimming back and forth and everywhere else...

Anyone know whats goin on? :unsure:

now that the lights are off he moves to his usual spot to sleep but then goes to that same spot every now and then to check it out it seems.

Had him for over 2 years now. No new fish added, and he is the only one actuing strange. its almost like he is quarding that particular rock, Ive noticed evertime the lunare wrasse comes by he will flare up a bit.

Im thinking he may have had a lil fight with the wrasse and is protecting his territory?

Yes - if it continues just move some things around to break up the territories a lil bit

JMO, but if your Naso is not eating then you better start looking for a cause.

IME, which I admit is not the greatest, outside of any external signs of illness, a fish's appetite is the best overall indicator of general health. A fish that doesn't eat is not normal.

Ugg, he is still not eating today. He has been swimming around the tank more but keeps going back to the same set of rocks for some reason, and I can only move one of them due to the others are supporting basically my whole structure on that side of the tank.

My other inhabitants that are wayyy more sensitive to water quality ie. butterflies and the shark are not showing any signs of stress and are eating and acting just like always.

Hopefully he just has a "cold" or something, im just stumped as to why after over 2 years he is doing this. The only thing I changed up is I FINALLY started using rodi water instead of tap lol

Well he just ATE!!! Even tho it was some poop form the goldflake angel I guess its better than nothing?

Keep up updated. Any appetite, fecalicious or not, is better than none!
