So Ive always been under the impression that no one really knows what linkias eat, and ive always recomended that no one with less then 100lbs of rock in the tank get one for that reason.

Well this is the 3rd time Ive found my blue linkia munching on my algea clip. Ive been using the ocean nutrition green algea sheets with garlic and it appears he likes it.

If you have a linkia, next time its out in the open could you rubber band some nori to a rock and put the star on it to see if it eats. Id like to see if its the nori in general or this specific kind, or if its just mine being unique.

Mine grazes constantly on the rock, glass and eats the asterina stars.
I think it's only because the small stars have a little algae on themselves and are in the way.
I've seen the linkia on my clip too.

I will try that tonight with mine. He does not move around much in the day but is all over the place at night. My tangs usually make quick work of the algae sheets.
