Recently, my BSJ has decided to take up residence on the other side of my tank. He has apparently grown fond of "spitting" substrate up, essentially right into my Vortech. The MP10 is usually set on Reef Crest Mode, and of course it seems there is always one grain of substrate that gets stuck and jams the wet side.

I was away from the tank for 3 days for the holidays and he didn't jam it. But it seems whenever I'm home during the day (weekends) he will jam it twice in one day.

I'm just looking for any brainstorming/ideas for what to do. It hasn't led to any real problems and it's not the sole source of water movement, but I was just curious as to thoughts...

can use some mesh.....or even a nylon panty hose...over the wet side...i guess the bluespot just likes to "make it rain".... :D

Yeah, I want to apologize about this thread, lol.

It really was a problem bothering me, but after I posted that I actually went and opened the original box and found the foam cover.

-1 to me; thanks for the replies though!

I think we all can say we've done the same and worse, it never hurts to ask a question!
