Is that kind of like "What happened to Amelia Earhart??????" That was a pretty big mystery back in the day.

This is one of those posts where it's ok to ask for pictures lol. Isn't releasing price and such my choic? I will take a pix at the airport tomr. And hopefully the acclimation process goes well

I'll catch both those stupid wrasse and trade you for the tamarin! I won't even break anything doing it.

I'm not old enough for beer. How big is you're back yard cause I'll need a place to camp out for a few days so I can get to knouw the fish lol.

That is about half of what they go for as a perfect specimen. Assuming this one is too. They are awesome fish. They do well if you get them to eat.......but of course that is the trick. I have a yellow tail tamarin and it is a champ.......ate in the acclimation bucket. It is still in QT, but doing well so far.

If you need the Mystery and sixline caught, I have some old tricks that I can show you without having to tear everything apart. PM me your number if interested. How big a tank you need them caught out of? a 25? I can do it tomorrow for you if you'd like.

Painful.....but doable. I've had worse conditions. The worst was catching a vicious orange shoulder and bariene tang out of a 400. Still have a small scar from that excursion. And, of course I had to catch a cleaner wrasse out of a 150......escape artists. But, nothing got damaged....even the monti caps.

Why doesn't anyone use the fishing nets that they actually use to catch the fish in the wild?
Here is a youtube vid of it being done:

Because most have corals that would get all kind of caught up in that net. I use clear plastic and a similar technique. It would be awesome with that much room to work.

Those are the kind of fish collectors you want to buy from. That is the way to do it.

The 1000 price tag is usually for lfs and online selling to the public. If you know a lfs that will give u at cost that are usually 400-600 plus shipping. Has anyone look at wholesale price of anything recently? I bought a "super male" lineatus for 1/3 of 299.99 listing price of some stores. And my fish are evil and tricky patrick

Im sure deep blue sea, as well as other sponsors would be upset if you continue to qoute wholesale pricing. Just doesn't seem right, IMO. I picked up a lineatus at wholesale pricing plus a small markup. Out of respect for my buddy's store and sponsors in general, I didn't go bragging about the great price that I got. As I've told you before, a little humility goes a long way.....

You can go ask them. I didn't get it thru them. Why don't you talk to the individual that are being disrespectful enough to even ask and continue to ask for pricing. Ralph wanted to buy it, I offered him the standard mark up. I only offered humidity and respect to those that offer the same. Why do it otherwise. Thread started as a discussion and ended up someone like an interegation. And honestly, the price shouldnt have never been brought up. And Deep Blue AQUATICS has the best pricing already, they don't have a high mark up. You can see most o their pricing is very competitive. They only charge a tiny bit over their wholesale. My price is an example of how much cheaper u can get livestock, but really I think the price he gave me is what he normally charges. He had 2 flame wrasse for 180 I think, that included a large male. I don't think he personally would be offended. Maybe others.

Id like some humidity and respect.

really though, everyone knows standard markup on fish is at least 75-300% its no secret.
