Inhave found a Bobbit worm in my sons tank. This things is probably 12-14" in length and it needs to go. I have tried the bottle trap but its just to small to work right. Tank is only a 20g long so a larger bottle wont fit. Has anybody had success with removing one and not tearing their tank apart?

Shrimp/panty hose is what I would try and even if it didn't capture him, hopefully it would bring the thing out enough to be grabbed up with a pair of tongs.

Personally - if I wanted to be sure that thing is gone - I'd tear the tank apart.

It's a small enough tank that you could tear it down and put it back together in a couple hours max.

If there is 1 - there may be more than one and if you break it up - you MIGHT end up with multiple clones.

That definitely would not be good to break it up. I will break it down last resort but it's looking like that. I'm going to try the pantyhose and see if that helps
