Well found myself with some extra time tonight and my dremel looked lonely. Fragged a few chalices and an Enchinata. Hoping they all make it. :)

Will try to get some tomm. Chalices fragged were Pink Boobies, Miami Hurricane, Mummy Eye, Cornbred Rainbow Crush, and Spikes "My Malibu" acan enchinata.

Surprisingly it has been a good fragger. Cut 2 frags a couple of months back so I cut 2 more tonight. One is very small so I am anxious to see how it does. Wish I could sell them for what he does. :)

Man I'm nervous fragging with a frag saw, you ought to have seen me with a Dremel, haha. It was like a drunken blind man with a chainsaw. Not pretty. Certainly could never be a surgeon.

Hope they all make it. Those are some sick chalices. I'm sure they will. Its the heat that damages chalices from the dremel usually. Just gotta make quick cuts so the friction doesn't wear the flesh out too much

if your frags are good tomorrow I will pass through Acworth tomorrow evening.please call I will meet you.678-778-7104 Anthony

Dremmel has a very thin diamind edge cutting wheel about 1/2" in diameter that slices through corals like a hot knife through butter. I Fragged a My Miami into 5 frags in les than a minute last week, all made it without ANY tissue recession. Check it out. use the wheel instead of a small bit, more prcision, straight cut and less time and losses. Even used it to frag some Zoas/Palys to get a small piece of frag plug while at it, Polyps opened within an hour after fragging.

Awesome man, not taking my frag saw into my hobbyist transition (my wife said I would just start another store and never leave my corals alone, and she's right) I'll have to grab that diamond wheel. I'm going to be SUPER Acro heavy so I doubt I'll need my saw anyway. Honestly, the only coral the saw was every great for was favias and acans.

I'd love to try some RC. If the frags you cut aren't spoken for, please get bored and cut some more! :)

+1 yea what he said!!

Yes I use the diamond blade and make quick cuts. If it is a tough piece to cut I stop and dip the blade in water to cool it off. One other thing that I do to the mother and the frag is gently wipe away the white skeleton crud that is made while cutting. This crud build up will kill the flesh under it.

Also for those that have PM'd I am not ignoring you I like my frags to heal all the way around....
