... How long should I expect him to do this for?

FWIW I have a 210 gal with a few lps, zoa's, softies, and a very healthy lta that measures around 10" across. Tank is 7 months old. 10 or so fish...

Reefbreeder led's lighting my tank - too bright for the new addition?

Water
1.026
pH 8.1-8.2
Temp 79.7f
Cal 430
Alk 9.2
Mag 1600 (I thk my red sea test kit is wacky here since I hv never dosed mag and a few months back my mag was 1350)
No3 zero
PO4 - no test kit (running gfo)

How long has it been in there? I have had them stay small for several days. moving from place to place until they find their "sweet" spot...

24 hours now.

New issue to me as my lta never did this...

I wouldn't worry for a FEW days.. Has it footed in at all? LTA, to me, are much easier with the change in light ect, to me.. I have them both as well. How big is the BTA?

Any change to the tank sends mine into hiding. Give it a few days and it will begin its quest to find the right spot. GL!!!

Yeah it's sticking in a rock crevice.

Pretty small

+1. I moved a power head in my tank today, and mine shriveled. I wouldn't worry. It's usually back to normal within a day or so.

No worries, Man. It is just settling in. They shrivel up when they poop too.

As long as it has it's color and it's not bleaching out, you should be good...

Keep an eye on it, though. After it gets used to your tank and water, it may roam around to find it's sweet spot to call home. This is the time to make sure it doesn't wander into your powerheads...

Took my Rasta bta 2 weeks to crawl out where I could see it , just give it time .
Bubble tips just need time to adjust
I'd leave it be a few days and if it doesn't look better move the flow possibly , but don't be surprised if it looks unhappy for a week they Will generally move itself around until it finds what it likes , my 2 bubble tips both attatched to the same rock by there on choice its in a lower flow area near the bottom , 20 other rocks to choos from go figure .

Really tiny still.

He is fine! no worries.

When its inside out bouncing around the tank you have problems

Another point is that a lot of anemones will disappear for 3 to 5 days to split, apparently they like to reproduce in the dark. :D

Now he moved behind the rocks and I can't see but one bubble tip arm sticking out lol

It happens. Just give him some time. Eventually he'll need some light and move again. Sometimes it takes them a while to find their sweet spot.

How is its color? Any bleaching?
