Has anyone else had issues with this salt? I started using it a couple weeks ago. After my second water changed all the sps looked terrible. The birdsnests all had retracted polyps. I went through the nomal testing and could not find a reason. They started bleaching and STN and after a few days they were all dead. Did not lose any lps but several did not look happy. I finally tested again and decided to check po4. It was .09. My po4 is never that high. So I decided to mix a fresh bucket of salt to check and the po4 tested .08 on the Hanna meter. I tested my rodi to make sure and it was 0. So it seems I was dumping phosphate in the tank and who knows what else. I changed back to Kent reef salt and things are looking better. It was too late for the birdsnests colonies. How could new salt be loaded with po4? Anyone else have similar issues? Should have never switched. Stay with what works.
