Brightwell Products not all up to snuff?

This is just an FYI on some very, very respected opinions in the field. Actually, Randy is THE MOST respected chemist in this hobby, period.

Yah, I don't know where I'd be in this hobby without Randy's knowledge. Reading all that he's written on this hobby really helped me get my tank to where it is today.

Anyways, Raj... Randy says that some products in various lines are good and some are bad. However, he said that everything in the ESV line to his knowledge is good to go.

Almost all have some snake oil! Brightwell has a lot of good stuff as does Kent. ESV is all good because they stick to basics and don't have any super secret "boosters". Generally just stay away from the reef boosters and accelerators, etc. Most have decent pure elemental additions. (calcium, buffer, Mg, etc, etc.)

Randy's series of reef chemistry articles are the foundation of how I manage the chemistry of my reef. I read them all before I started.

I only WISH that I would have done that! Would have saved me a lot of stress, time, money, and....................

One article I found really helpful was the one that sorted thru what supplements do we really need in our reef.
