Brittle Star

I have a Brittle Star and right now it's legs are only half as long as they used to be. I noticed this about 4 weeks ago. I don't know if my fish nipped at them or if they molt. I know they are nocturnal but it isn't as active as before either. Any insight?

dont worry. its legs will regenerate. smae thing happened to mine and...it grew back...and, they can adapt well
