Broken branch on sps

Just got a new sps and when glue it to a rock I broke the main branch off. There is still a base but the main branch is on the bottom of the tank? Should I take it out and cut my loss or leave it in? Also what to do with the broken branch as is is a clean break.

aka you got a free frag! Glue it to a rock or plug and it should do fine! The origional base should re-grow as well.

yup better get it off the sand bed before it becomes unhappy. Use some epoxy and super glue and glue it either to your rock work or back onto the plug.

Thx all put it on a plug I had and glued it high in the tank.
