It seems lately every day when I come home that I have a thin film of brown algae all over the glass. Its rather annoying actually and I want it to stop!
I do weekly WC's of 18-20% and test before and after

Nitrates are around .2-2 ppm usually before the WC\'s

Phosphates are usually undetectable but dont go above .5ppm (which is NSW values?) I run GFO and Carbon

I run 114w UV on my return

I have a 10 gal fuge with chaeto and LR

my bulbs are T5, of 12 bulbs 4 are brand new and the rest are about 9 mo old

I run a skimmer rated for 600 gal on a 240 gal system

I dose Vitamin C weekly (2 tsp)

Only thing I have done different before I started noticing it is dialed back the flow thru my UV a little as my Naso had ich. I plan to go back to full flow (about 675-750 gph) when I get home
Advice?
