Bubble gum monster is melting help

I purchased two BGM at the same time and they have both been doing great until about an hour ago, I checked the tank and one looks like it is just melting away. The other is about 4 inches away and it looks fine. Can anyone please help . What should I do? Bubba

maybe move the "bad" one to a lower light/lower flow area? Is there any coral near the bad one that could be stinging, etc it?

It is med low in the tank and not in direct flow, but I will go out and move it. The other one is just2 1/2 - 3" from it and no problems. Thanks for the reply I will go make the change now. Bubba

Don't chalices have huge sweepers? Maybe the other is stinging it

It is melting on the opposite side of where the first BGM is located. I moved it down lower and out of the flow........said a prayer. By the way Deitz, how's the new job? Thanks for your replies. Is their any medication I could dip it in to help save it? Frag off what is still living? Bubba

Bubba, I've trimmed the "bad" spot off of a chalice before and had the remaining colony survive.

As far as a dip, I really like the two little fishies ReVive.
