Does anyone have any solution to reducing the bubbles that end up in the display tank? I have three baffles before my fuge, two before the return and LR rubble in the drain. I also just ordered a filter sock but besides that im not sure what else to do. Any input would be great...

Thanks, G

Please, try this........

People have said that I was wrong about this, but it rids me of micro-bubbles everytime I use one.

If you're not using a UV Sterilizer, try one... Everytime I use UV, the micro-bubbles disapate.

The bubbles would be a result of improper baffling in the sump. Since you probably can't do much about that now, a filter sock will be your next best option. Keep in mind that you will need to constantly remove and clean out the filter sock. It's best to keep 6-12 on hand and just swap them out and wash them in loads.

A simple solution can be placing filter pad in between last two baffles, before the return pump.

Thanks just put in an order for some socks (6 count) and ill try that first.
I have a uv as well but it isnt tied into any of lines yet because the bulb is broken.

Skriz - the sump was actually customer built by a member on here for a tight compartment on a 72 bow so i assume it was designed that way for space issues.

Put a filter on the return mag and it reduced the bubbles by alot but ill comment back once i add the socks...
