Buffing low iron glass?

Can it be done? I have some minor scratches in a low iron glass tank that are really annoying me... The scratches do not seem very deep bc when I run my nail over them it doesn't go in. I wanted to know what everyone's experience was to help lessen the noticeability of them....

Hey Allen! Yeah thats what I was afraid of...I dont trust my self enough to replace the glass on my own so Ill just live with the scratches theyre really not noticeable when its filled

I don't know of anyone who has successfully removed scratches from glass.
