You will run your hob for a period of time maybe a week or two.
You can still keep it handy to use as a media chamber later

The addition of a sump should not create any kind of cycle for you.


Instead of using bio-balls use liverock rubble and you should really include a fuge.

Your tank is 13in wide and your stand most likely will not allow for a 10,15 or 20 because they are 12 in.
