buying bone cutters locally?

Anywhere to buy these local? Walmart, Lowes? Need to start trimming some sps.
 
Actually the name 'dikes' is an adaptation from 'diagonal' cutters (diag's).

Diag's became dike's over the years.

FWIW- you can pick them up cheaply at Northern tool, dollar stores, etc.

+1 on wiping off the oil.

Just rinse them with fresh water, and dry after use. This will limit the rust.
 
If you can find one's made from stainless steel, they MAY not rust. Not all 'stainless' is stainless in seawater. Check with a 'medical supply' business for stailess bone cutters. These will last for years, but be more $$. The $2-5 one's at a dollar store can be thrown away when they rust or get dull.
 
I carry coral clippers. Bigger than diagonal cutters.
