Buzzing MH

It's driving me crazy. It's a new Radium 400w and it's buzzing when on. It looks like the metal construction inside is rattling against the glass. What to do?

Yes, it changes to a scream (man this thing gets HOT)!

Seriously, I can't touch it with my hand but. I did push it up a little with a metal tong and it seemed to stop.

shove some toothpicks in there for a temporary fix, then figure out what would be a little better looking when it cools down

I don't have a glass shield it just a SE MH in a reflector. The bulb itself is buzzing.

Either tighten or slightly loosen the bulb and see if that helps.

It may also be a ballast issue. I had one ballast that used to make my SE bulb buzz..drove me insane. I took a hammer to it and alleviated the issue

(also check all the electrical connections to make sure everything has perfect contact)
