so, my drip rate into my sump...

I CAN'T get it steady... its like it gets clogged or something and STOPS, then I have to reset it all...

I have the basic needle valve on top of the second chamber of the dual MRC nano reactor.

Is there a better way to get a consistent drip rate?

Thanks,
B

I Control the water going into the reactor rather than the flow out of the reactor.

That's your problem. The new maxijets are made in china. The oringal ones were made in Italy. The Italian ones were grest. Thr chinese version doesn't quite cut in in pressure applications. Change the pump to a mag2 or similar and your problems will be solved :)

Ha! Change it. I thought mine was still good at that age too!

Get that little pan world pump, they are amamzing! Panworld 10 or blueline 10....I cant remember the exact name. I had one when I had my MRC reactor. Also, dont use that needle valve on top of the reactor. Open it up all the way and put a needle or ball type right before it drips into your sump. You can get better control this way.

I would install a needle valve on the input of the first chamber, and avoid the saturated lime solution.

Then, remove the one on the 2nd chamber.

Flow control without clogging.

My $0.02
