I've noticed that most all calcium additives are calcium chloride. I'm not a chemist so here's my question. At work, we use 40lbs bags of anhydrous calcium chloride to heat up the concrete in the winter time so it will set and cure. The bag says "94% - 97% anhydrous calcium chloride". I did figure out that it's basically the same stuff used in "Damp Rid" and other moisture absorbers. The calcium at work is the same size pellets as the Damp Rid. Is this also the same stuff as liquid calcium additives made by Kent, SC, and others, just in a liquid form? If so, I could get 40lbs for...well...very very very cheap.
