We have a Percision Marine Ca Reactor system, and I was wondering what the bubble count needs to be to maintain Calcium at 450-500? I am currently running the CO2 tank wide open.

I've never used a Ca Reactor, but as with any calcium method, 80% of the answer is governed by water volume and the amount and number of organisms that use calcium. From what I know of Ca reactors, the rest depends on the media used and the concentration of the output.

You have to start off slowly and measure your Ph, calcium and Alk every other days. The co2 should be around 10 bubbles every minute and your effluent liquid should be 40. I am not sure what do you mean by wide open. Meaning you are dumping straigh 50psi of co2 into your calcium reactor? I would think that will definitely break some rubbel seals.

Here is a link on how to set up a calcium reactor. They are pretty much the same.
