Calcium tests?!?

I used the API test got 500 used seachem got 350. I've done it twice any ideas? I maybe just being special but two times with each kit and getting very different results.

I never had good luck using API kits.

exactly. that's why we switched pretty quickly.

Test samples of the Seachem reference solution, using both kits. Use the solution instead of your water.

The reference solution has a known value (printed on the label). See which test is accurate.

Geez I knew I was being a moron. I bought the kit from you Jenn and imagine you have the almighty answer to my problem. Thanks haven't even touched the bottle of test solution. But I'm hopefully reading my result correctly. I dropped until there was only .3 left in syringe meaning .7 went in if I read correctly that had me at 350 with seachem. Took 26 drops with API. Will take your suggestion and test around 3 pm. Thanks

Ok so I got 520-540 with seachem so yes API is trash. Man guess I need to dose more 350 is low.
