I've decided that in my new build I will have a large Angel.... if it nips coral, it nips coral. I will keep it fed, and have far more skimmer than I need, so I'm not concerned about the drawbacks of heavy feeding.
I don't want it to nip, but if it does I can live with it.

That said (and considering the fact that none of the Genicanthus Angelfish appeal to me), is any species more or less risky that others?

In particular, I'm considering Queen, Imperator, Blueface and maybe Annularis.

Input from experienced keepers is much appreciated!

I would soooooo go for this baby:

Yeah, Rob, that's my favorite (unless you count the ones I can't afford).
A False Personifer would be cool, but alas, my bank account thinks they are ugly fish.

I'm going to go with an emperor; hopefully one from New Caledonia

Depends on the corals, really. Holacanthus sp. Angels (like the queen) are said to be the worst. Whereas Chaetedontoplus and Apolemicthys sp. are said to be the "more safe". What genus, probably kiss zoas and LPS "bon voyage".

Thanks, Jeremy, I was hoping you would chime in. That's exactly the species-specific advice I was looking for. One can Google anything, but I trust what you say.
The new system will have my wife's 30 cube plumbed in, so I don't mind rehoming my LPS into her tank. And for some reason, I can't make zoas thrive anyway.

Maybe I can start saving for C. Septentrionalis or C. Duboulayi. :D

Bluelines and scribbs are some of my faves. And of course, the meredithis. There is a flush of juvi bluelines now, so this is the time to strike.
