My problem = Green Slime Algae on the Rocks and Sand.
I am running a reactor with GFO changed monthly. I have started (second week) dosing zeobac and coral snow (1 drop and 2ml or snow daily for 2 weeks). While the thickness of the green slime seems to be decreasing the slime continues to stay on the rocks. I have dosed a carbon source in the past and noticed that the growth was reduced, however I did notice some clumping in my reactor with the GFO. I am considering starting back with carbon dosing (have some red sea no3po4x left) at .5ml to try and kill off this nuisance slime. Any thoughts or ideas on dosing this?
