Can anyone ID this frag?

I got this frag at the meeting and I dont know what it is. It is white with pink tips. Can anyone tell me what it is and how to care for it?

Could be, it does have growth like acropora echinata

It doesn't look like a hawkins to me, branches are too thick.

It does look like the slides for Acropora-carduus, but it also kinda looks like the echinata. If it is that, is it bleached out? I got it at the meeting on Tuesday. If it is bleached can it get its color back? What should I do to help it?

Yes, if its bleached it can get its color back. Give it good light, flow and stable perameters.

OK right now I have it towards the top of the tank in a strong current, but not right in front of the powerhead. Just tested the water and everything looks great. I'll keep my fingers crossed for it. I read that the acros usually dont survive in a tank that is less than a year old, even a well maintained one

I have had Acro's in my tank since it cycled. I also have an anemone that was the first thing I even put in my current tank. Over a year later the anemone is huge and My acro's are fine. Those time frames people give are more for the hobbiest than the tank. It gives the Hobbiest time to get seasoned and expierienced in keeping the params stable.
