I already have one blue tang in my 75 gallon. It is a baby though (around two inches). I just think it seems a little empty now that two of my firefish have disappeared.

the hippo tang is not aggressive so yes and no a clown tang and also a solo tang and purple tangs can be aggressive. they do need a lot of rock to make a sleeping place. im thinking a yellow tang will work out for you. happy hunting

I'd be very cautious adding aother tang to that tank. The need LOTS of swimming room and they graze all day long. Maybe opt for some anthias or something like that. If you're dead set on another tang, go with a small Kole or something like that maybe. I have a Hawaiian Spotted Tang (3") and and Blue Hippo/Regal tang (6") in a 60" 120g and they seem happy.

Not to mention the huge bio load they have on a tank.

I have over 100 pounds of live rock and a good skimmer so the bioload shouldn't be a problem. If i can have another tang, which one should I get?

Amen to that, my Scopas tang is nicknamed "the Mad Bomber" for when he lets loose on the tank, those things can poop like crazy.

I have a Scopas in a 75. I've had him for 2 1/2 inches. Starting to get rather large for this tank I feel so I definately would not add another tang to your 75. I need to get a bigger tank for my tang.. :/

I'd advise to watch the bioload for a few days and see how it goes before dropping the tags in there, as far as size and compatibility they wil be fine till they get larger but still should be fine

my pistol shrimp or coral banded shrimp probably got the firefish, but it shouldn't be a problem with 2 inch tang

Bioload yes, but don't forget about lack of personal/swimming space. With another tang (calm or not) and that amount of rock you are sure to have territory problems
