Candy Cane Feeder Tentacles question

In my 120 I have 3 different candy can frags (the small one I got from the Feb frag meet has nearly into a second polyp already). 2 of them seem very happy and have their feeding tentacles out all night (the one from ARC is open nearly 24/7) but the third is a fluorescent green/yellow one that never really shows its feeding tentacles. This is the frag I've had longest in my tank and I have moved it to different locations. It does fill up when moved closer to the top but otherwise I dont see much change. It isn't growing like the others, but it doesn't seem to be consuming itself either. I'm guessing its just taking in the light and feeding itself, but should I maybe move it even higher in the tank or is it alright? Right now its about halfway down (12", which is the top of my rock scape) and it's under a 48" aqualife model with 6 t5s on a 12 hour cycle.

I've tried from the 12" depth its at down to the bottom. Think I should try a little bit of shadow? the other two candy canes seem to enjoy the light at able the 12" depth.

Whatever bulbs came with the light system when new. I've been burning them 4 months now and they had not been used before i got the set up, but I do forget what they're ratings are. I was gonna start a bulb rotation next month, but I could push it forward if you have suggestions. All the other coral in the system seems to be happy now they i've found their niche in the tank.
